Rashmi Kumar

Rashmi Kumar is a Correspondent and Radio Host with My Radio 580, you can tune into her live Hindi program from Monday to Friday between 12-3 PM and 7-9 PM, every Saturday. Previously, she has worked with iNews880 and 101.7 World FM (now called Connect FM) as a morning show host, wherein she hosted a show called. “Rush Hour.” She received her education in Radio & TV at NAIT and has had the opportunity to work as a guest columnist with Avenue Magazine. Besides being a journalist in India, she was chosen as the “Writer-in Exile” in 2013 by the Canadian Authors Association and EPL. She is the author of three books, “Stilettos in the Newsroom,” “Hooked, Lined & Single” and Goliath & I.” When she isn’t broadcasting, you can occasionally catch her experimenting with Indo-Japanese cuisine and working on her upcoming book titled, “Canadian Diary.” In 2020, Rashmi put her training in Indian classical vocal to good use by bringing out her debut single track, “Ab Milna.” The song has already received more than 300 thousand views on YouTube.
